Happy Canada Day!

As we kick off July and celebrate Canada Day, it’s a great time to reflect on independence—not just as a country, but in how we move, work, and take charge of our own well-being. Whether you're catching a long weekend or just enjoying the summer weather, don’t let good posture and healthy habits take a vacation.

Feature Article: Don’t Let Summer Slouching Creep In

Summer often brings relaxed routines—and sometimes, relaxed posture. Here are a few ways to stay aligned even if your schedule shifts:

  1. Reset your chair every Monday – Recheck your seat height, lumbar support, and keyboard position.
  2. Stand and stretch between tasks – Short, frequent breaks are better than fewer long ones.
  3. Avoid working from the couch – Soft seating may feel comfortable at first, but your spine will disagree after an hour.
💡Tip: If you're working from a summer cabin, hotel, or backyard, use a laptop riser and external mouse to protect your neck and wrists.

Stretch of the Month: Seated Upper Back Opener

This stretch targets tension between the shoulder blades—a common issue from long periods at a computer.

How to do it:

  1. Sit tall with your feet flat on the floor
  2. Interlace your fingers and stretch your arms forward at shoulder height
  3. Round your upper back slightly as you push your hands forward
  4. Hold for 15–20 seconds, breathing deeply
  5. Repeat 2–3 times throughout the day
Great for: Operators, office workers, or anyone experiencing upper back stiffness

Product Spotlight: HandShoe Mouse

Looking for a mouse that supports your hand instead of straining it?

The HandShoe Mouse is designed to eliminate gripping and pinching—two major contributors to forearm and wrist discomfort.

Why it stands out:

  • Sculpted to fit your hand’s natural shape
  • Promotes a relaxed, open-hand posture
  • Available in multiple sizes for proper fit
  • Wired and wireless options
Ideal for users with forearm, wrist, or hand discomfort who haven’t had success with standard vertical mice.

Need help finding the right size? I can assist with fitting or arrange a trial.

Need Help?

If you or your team are experiencing discomfort or need help with workstation setup, summer is a great time to book an ergonomic review.
